The Maidenhead Grimm Players Proudly Present........

Sweet Charity

Charity Valentine is the eternal optimist. While working at the seedy Fan-Dango ballroom, she is often taken advantage of and continually experiences bad relationships. Finally, she seems to have met a decent fellow in Oscar. Trying to hide her true profession, she lies to him and tells her that she works in a bank. Soon, Oscar asks Charity to marry him. Unfortunately, Oscar discovers Charity's real profession and backs out of the marriage. Nevertheless, Charity continues to remain hopeful that good things will happen in her life.

This is certainly one of those memorable Maidenhead shows, with songs Big Spender and Rhythm of Life to name but a few. Recently finishing its run in the West End starring Tamzin Outhwaite (Eastenders Fame), this is certainly a show not to be missed.

The Windsor & Eton Opera's Autumn production is always something to look forward to!
This Autumn is being staged a lavish production of Gilbert & Sullivan's - The Gondoliers.

As all of their shows it is richly staged and costumed, with full Orchestra.
In being one of Gilbert & Sullivan's most popular Operas it is light hearted, funny, colourful
and packed with great foot-tapping music, including the well known piece ..."take a pair of sparkling eyes"
It is a show that will certainly turn a dull grey evening into a few light hearted hours of merriment"

The Show is on from the 24-29 October, for six performances - starting at 7.30pm each evening,
and is being held at the 'home' of Windsor & Eton Opera - The superb, Farrer Theatre, Eton College.
Licensed Bar available, Near bye free parking.

Ticket prices From £15 to £18, with concessions for under 18 year olds on most
evenings, and £1 off all tickets for senior Citizens for the Monday evening.

programme worth £2* on the evening!

New Zumba Classes take place every Wednesday at Bracknell Cox Green Community Centre - 11.30am and 7pm @ £5 per session.

Zumba Fitness® is the only Latin-inspired dance-fitness program that blends red-hot international music, and contagious steps to form a "fitness-party" that is downright addictive.

Bracknell Zumba classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats.
Before you know it, you're getting fit and energy levels are soaring!

All Bracknell abilities are more than welcome.

There’s no other fitness class like a Zumba Fitness-Party, and there's certainly no party like a MyZumba class! It’s easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating.

The Nicholson Room has been renovated to a very high standard. The new layout is easy to access, and the library staff who have worked so hard to make the improvements are to be commended. It should be first call for anyone wanting to study local history, or research any ancestors who lived in this area.
